s a dog I get to spend some fun times with my human and other humans too.
We go to the park nearly every day.
We go to the beach a few times a year.
While ‘she who must be obeyed’ does insist on taking me to the torturer (aka the vet), on the whole I think she’s pretty fab.
So, as funny and awkward as humans can be I would like to pay tribute to them by compiling this list of the three most wonderful things about humans.
1. They tend to go to work most of the time leaving their dogs to get some much needed rest, chase the cat and, if needed, bark at anything and everything that goes past the house.
2. They spend more money on food for their dogs than they do themselves. This might not be the case if there’s a mini-human in the house. They tend to get spoilt a lot and get all sorts of luxuries lavished upon them. I have no explanation for this, but I’m guessing it’s because they smell so nice.
3. Humans are quite weak. I don’t mean physically, but I mean emotionally. I only have to bat my eyelids and do my best hangdog face and I get fed treats from the table, the mini-bar and from other human’s plate.
So, there you are – 3 reasons why keeping your own human is wonderful for all dogs.
